For our final release announcement, coming this Saturday on draft and in bottles will be Double Chocolate Feral Dawn! A blend of our 41-month-matured Wild Turkey stout barrel and our 17-month-matured Buffalo Trace stout barrel, this beer was then conditioned further on pounds and pounds of organic cacao husks and cacao nibs!
This decadent, bold stout features a creamy, mocha-colored head that releases waves and waves of semi-sweet and milk chocolate aroma. If you find you prefer your beer like revenge, served cold, you’ll enjoy delicious dark chocolate, espresso, and baking chocolate. But if you feel that good things come to those who wait, and you allow it to briefly warm, you’ll be rewarded with stronger flavors of fudge, brown sugar, caramel, and brownie batter. To say we’ve enjoyed sampling this one would be a bit of an understatement.
If you’re staying with us for a while on Saturday, it may be hard to choose when to try this one. It’ll make for a perfect dessert in a glass, but if you wait too long, it may be gone!
Anniversaries call for big beers, right?
The next release slated for this coming Saturday is a whopper of a triple West Coast IPA. Clocking in at 11%, “Time and Different Space” is hopped heavily with Strata, Mosaic, and Columbus. It’s dank, slightly boozy, and is filled with berry and tropical fruit flavors. This beer will see some distro in kegs, but it’s a taproom exclusive if you want to take any home with you, so if we may suggest you join us for a fun time this Saturday and grab a 4-pack while you can? It seems silly not to come have a blast. Big stouts, Big IPAs, silly slushees, great food, and more!
Taking place next Sunday evening, June 14th at 6pm!

Are you into oak?
Doug and Justin picked three barrels for this year’s Feral Dawn blend to be released at our anniversary party, Saturday the 13th. And if you enjoy an oak-forward, really big stout, this is your year!
The guys started with two barrels we’ve been maturing for almost four years, one Jim Beam, the other a Wild Turkey. These are barrels that have tasted great in past trials but we didn’t have the perfect final barrel ready that would bring out all of their very best characters. After pulling nails on many of our other stout barrels, they also selected a 17 month old Buffalo Trace barrel for the final blend. The older barrels had prominent notes of brown sugar, chocolate, and caramel. The younger barrel was a touch drier with more savory notes like tobacco and leather to round out the sweeter tones.
Together, this rich stout hits you with strong barrel character up front, but relaxes into smooth chocolatey tones, and a complex finish that unfolds with baking spice, dark fruits, and rich caramel.
The guys loved this unique blend and we think you will too.
We’ll be releasing Feral Dawn in bottles this coming Saturday at noon. Stay tuned for news on a special variant that we’ll have more info on later this week.
We’ll be pouring Feral Dawn, our Feral Dawn variant, a vintage keg, and some other fun surprises on draft all day. Come grab great food from Greek Street, some great beer, and celebrate eight crazy years with us!
June is always a milestone month for us. It’s full of anniversary planning, celebrating how far we've come, and looking back on the years of memories we've created within these walls. For many of the past 8 years, we’ve featured different local artists each month that inspire us and make our taproom a more beautiful space. Their pieces really pull the room together.
This month is extra special. We are featuring twelve of our past artists who were all given the same prompts: Branch & Bone, Beer, and Dayton. All of them used some interpretation of these prompts that create a connective thread for our anniversary month. We couldn't be happier with the way their pieces have come together to create a showcase that reflects our community.
Pop in to check out, admire, and purchase (if the urge possesses you!) any of these works throughout the month.
And make sure to join us on the 13th for all of our anniversary 8 shenanigans!
We’re really starting to feel that summer weather creeping in.
With that in mind, it’s sour season! Today we’re releasing Passsionfruit Salty Salute on draft and 4-packs of 16oz cans to-go.
This gose, a tart wheat-ale with a bit of salt added during the boil, is loaded with almost 600 pounds of passionfruit and is perfect for pool-side sitting, patio sipping, or as a lawn-mowing beer. Think of it as an electrolyte beverage for adults! Tart, salty, sweet, and completely refreshing!
We also neglected to post about the release of Mirage, a fan-favorite WCIPA, last week! It’s packed with those “cheater” hops, Citra and Mosaic, for a dank, dry, citrus fruit-forward punch that’ll keep you coming back again and again. We love our clear beer!
Both beers are available when we open at four. And keep your eyes peeled through the rest of the week as we release more info about our 8th Anniversary, coming up Saturday June 13th! We’ll have a lot going on!
First Anniversary 8 details coming in!
Our friends at Greek Street are going to bring their truck down and will be hanging out slinging amazing gyros, kebabs, and Greek fries from noon-6. Don’t sleep on their chicken, it’s incredible. These fine folks make amazing food, serve it with a smile, and if you look really closely, you may notice that one of the guys on the truck bears a slight resemblance to our taproom manager, Jama. Don’t mention that to Wyatt though. He already has to have her as a mom. We don’t want draw more attention to it.
Come grab some great beer and some soul-fulfilling Greek food and celebrate eight years of Branch & Bone!
Join us on Saturday June 13th at Noon when we open for our Anniversary Party.
Expect our yearly bottle release of Bourbon Barrel Aged Feral Dawn and a special variant of BA Feral Dawn also on draft and in bottles. Details on the variant and other special draft only beers coming soon.
This year we are also stepping things up with a brand new beer releasing in cans, a Triple West Coast IPA. More details on that one coming soon as well so follow the event for more info.
On site serving up amazing food for everyone starting at Noon for afternoon service will be our friends at Greek Street. Later in the evening our pal Mike with Tales of Cheddar and Ale will be posted up in the taproom with his amazing charcuterie offerings.
8 years is big and we wouldn't be here without you. So hope to see you all out to raise a glass to not only what we are doing but to all of you for your continued support. Here's to many more!
NEW BEER ALERT!
We have a brand new beer releasing today, along with a beer we haven’t released in almost four years!
If you’re one of those folks who’ve been lovingly hounding us to release Dream Wax for a good long while, your prayers have been answered! And we went ahead and Double Dry-Hopped it just to make it extra special for the folks who truly love it. This oat cream IPA is loaded with Citra Cryo and Nelson Sauvin, so it’s citrusy, bright, and has a slight apricot flavor, then finishes as smooth as a gentle Spring breeze. You’re going to love it.
We’re also releasing a new Pub Ale that we’re absolutely thrilled with. Stumbling Through Memories is an English Pale Ale that beautifully blends malt and hops. A perfectly clear, straw-colored gem that perfectly balances malt flavor with a crisp hop finish that doesn’t overwhelm the palate. This one might be our new favorite pub beer.
Both of these are on draft and in cans today. Stumbling Through Memories will also be on the beer engine later this week!
