ARCHAEOBOTANY, SOFT TEMPLE, AND MAGUS RELEASE
Join us Saturday May 18th at Noon for our next release as we unveil three new beers, Archaeobotany - IPA and Soft Temple- Dessert-style Berliner in 16oz cans as well as our next mixed fermentation 500ml bottle, Magus.
Archaeobotany - Neo-Ancient IPA 6.4% ABV
This beer is a collaboration with our good friends (and amazing brewery) Jackie O's Brewery. Brewed with Ohio-grown ancient grains from Haus Malts and heavily hopped with Sabro and Citra hops melds very old and very new ingredients to create this uniquely delicious brew. Continuing our collaboration can labeling scheme, the artwork was created by the same artist that did the work for Bend Beyond, Kyle Thiele. $16 - 4 pack 16oz Cans
Soft Temple - Fruited Berliner-Style Weisse 4.2% ABV
With warmer weather among us, we see the return of fruited Berliner Weisse in cans here at Branch & Bone. This particular beer is our first canned sour to feature vanilla and lactose. Loaded with blueberry and cherry, the combination results in our take on a dessert style Berliner. Tart and creamy with tons of fruit and a pop of sweetness. $16 - 4 pack 16oz Cans
Magus - Wine Barrel Aged Mixed Fermentation Grisette 5.4% ABV
Magus is our take on the traditional style of Grisette. This hoppy farmhouse ale is fermented in wine barrels with our house mixed culture, showcasing the interplay of a balanced funk and hops. The mixed culture and wine barrels contribute a balancing acidity and complexity that fits in this style so well. $9.99 - 500ml Bottle
All three beers will be available on draft when we open at Noon. Cans and bottles go on sale at Noon as well. Limits will be set morning of the release based on turnout. We are a small brewery and put as much of these beers into package as our system allows. The goal would be that anyone that arrives by Noon Saturday has the opportunity to buy something. Thanks for your understanding!
Please be mindful of our neighbors around us. Please don't drink in the parking lot as the neighbors will call the police.

Join us in the taproom Friday April 5th as we welcome this month’s featured artist and good friend Cindy Callahan. where she will unveil new paintings exclusively at Branch & Bone.
Local artist Cindy Callahan has been painting with acrylic paints, including fluid painting, for a couple of years. She likes to experiment with the flow of the paints and found a way to make floral paintings in an abstract-realistic style. The paint colors are layered on top of each other and then airbrushed into shape. Some works are even blown with a hair dryer.
Cindy is a member of the Alcohol Ink Arts Community, where she has been honing her craft in this medium for the past 4 months. Alcohol inks are dyes in a base of alcohol, and when it evaporates leaves vibrant colors or smoky, ethereal shapes. Using an airbrush, the inks can be coaxed into flowers and leaves. Used with brushes, the shading and blending possibilities are magic.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY TAPPING: THANKS, IT HAS POCKETS
Early in February, we asked the awesome women that make up the majority of our staff come into the brewhouse to help brew the beer that they designed and named for International Women's Day 2019. "Thanks, It Has Pockets" is a blackberry lavender wheat ale that will make its debut in the taproom on Friday March 8th.
The beer will go on when we open at Noon. $1 from every full pour of this beer bought in our taproom will also go to the organization of their choosing, Artemis Center. The mission of this wonderful organization is "Leading the Community in Its Commitment to End Domestic Violence." The proceeds going to Artemis Center is not just for the event Friday, but for as long as the beer is available. So stop in while the beer lasts to support their cause.
About Artemis Center
In June 1985, a small group of women, often working without pay, started Artemis House (now Artemis Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence) to provide advocacy services beyond the traditional housing and safety offered by battered women’s shelters. For over three decades, Artemis has served more than 100,000 victims of domestic violence and their children, providing crisis intervention, safety planning, education, and emotional and material support.
Artemis Center empowers victims of domestic violence to make decisions and choices that will allow them to achieve and maintain safety for themselves and their children. By working conjointly with other community resources, Artemis Center advocates are able to coordinate needed services for victims. Additionally, through collaboration with the justice, child welfare and healthcare systems, as well as other systems partners, and through community education and advocacy programs, Artemis has been instrumental in the development and implementation of community-wide best practice responses to domestic violence.
Artemis relies on the generosity of individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners to continue providing programs and services free of charge to victims of domestic violence and their children.
Services include:
• 24-hour Domestic Violence Hotline, (937) 461-HELP (4357)
• Crisis intervention and supportive services
• Victim advocacy
