Ted Lasso Trivia at Branch & Bone

Are you a fan of hot brown water? How about Indian food that’s too hot to handle? Do you totally not understand the offsides rule but know it when you see it? Well, if you have a mind sharper than a goldfish and enjoy a perfectly baked shortbread biscuit, you might enjoy our Ted Lasso trivia coming up Wednesday, May 14th at 7pm, hosted by our good friend, and show aficionado, Rachel Miller.


We’ll have Pub Beer, some show themed snacks, prizes for our winners, and there will be plenty of water with zero bubbles. Teams can be groups of 3-5. Join us on Wednesday May 7th at 7pm for a Four Course Beer & Cheese pairing. Each course is perfectly curated by our very favorite cheese guru Mike Garrett to bring out the best in our beer. Our head brewer and owner, Justin Trhlin, will be on hand to discuss each beer in depth while Mike provides extensive knowledge of each course he has prepared.

Do you like English Pub Beer as much as we do? How about Lager? Real beer flavored beer.

If this sounds like you, be sure to join us at the brewery this Saturday March 29th for our first Freakin' Firkin Fest. A day to celebrate pub beer, traditional styles, and real ales—the beers near and dear to our hearts— on draft, in cask from the beer engine and gravity pours from a stichfass.

It is that time of year again! Join us Saturday February 22nd for this years Big Beer Bacchanal.

This year we have a limited release Barrel Aged bottle for you. Skinwalker, our Mexican Chocolate Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels with chilis, cinnamon, vanilla, and cacao makes its return. Available on draft and in bottles while supplies last when we open at noon.

We will also have limited and vintage Stouts, Barleywines, and Strong ales. Stay tuned for the full taplist

To pair with these big beers, neighborhood Girl Scouts will be on site selling those delicious cookies.

One week out from our yearly celebration of Coffee Golden Ale!

Dimmer is one of our favorite beers that we make and a lot of your favorites as well. So join us in the taproom on Saturday January 18th as we release a special Caramel Macchiato version of Dimmer along with a very special bottle release of Bourbon Barrel Double Dimmer.

Quite a few of special draft-only versions of Dimmer will be making their debut as well. stay tuned to our social media over the next week leading up to the event for more info there.

From NA craft beer and soda in cans to our newly released draft Hop Water made right here on-site, enjoy delicious sips and warm vibes. While we don't have a food service option (yet..), we do have chips from Hen of the Woods and you are welcome to carry in more substantial options from your favorite place.

New Year. New Beer. New Energy.

Our first new beer drop Tuesday of 2025 is exactly what you need for this snow and freezing temp, an 8.9% DIPA to warm things up.

New Energy is a West Coast DIPA with Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops. Big, bitter, citrus and white grape notes abound with a balancing malt character typical for these big hop bombs. Swing by the taproom today to try it on draft and take a 4-pack home to keep things toasty.

As we settle back into the brewery to get 2025 started, we want to take a moment to reflect on 2024.

This past year was a lot. In a lot of ways. We brewed an astonishing number of different beers. We established "core" brands for the first time that are seeing succesful distribution throughout Ohio. We had the amazing experience that was the Eclipse fall right in our laps. The full launch of our wine program also occured making us the only Winery within Dayton city limits. We expanded our draft system to provide more variety in the taproom. We raised and donated impactful dollars for some of our favorite Non-Profits, including Artemis Center Have A Gay Day and To Write Love On Her Arms.

In 2024, we grew as a Brewery. In many ways. Our staff got a little bigger, the amount of beer we produced increased, and our footprint throughout the state got stronger. We also learned a lot about our business, our processes, and ourselves. A lot of changed occurred and we all grew together to meet it head on and improve. While we constantly strive for perfection and continually find room for improvement, we are damn proud of what we were able to accomplish in 2024.

We couldn't have done it without all of you. The support we have received and the response from our community that keeps our weird little dream alive is why we are still here. Thank you. Truly.

It hasn't been easy. 2024 really brought the overall state of the industry into full view. As drinking habits have changed, craft beer as an industry continued to mature, and personal spending tightened, it has brought on tough times for most across the industry. Some of our awesome colleagues haven't made it through. Even tougher times are assuredly ahead. Continue to support the ones you want to see survive. Word of mouth and spreading what we do to those who aren't familiar goes a long way.

But we will continue to evolve to stay relevant and provide value to our community. Through tough times we see opportunity. We have some great things planned for 2025 so be sure to stay tuned!

Today is The 12 Sours of Christmas here at Branch & Bone. Come on in to try some very unique, one-off sour beers, your favorite hits from throughout the year, a special sour beer slushee and a hot sour beer all available today in the taproom.

We have quite a few non-sour options as well so don’t be afraid if sour beer isn’t your thing. Party starts at Noon and goes until 11pm. Hope to see you there!

Join us this Sunday December 15th from 1-3pm in the taproom for a very special fundraiser we are hosting, Photos with Santa. Bring the kids, pets, or just yourself for this fun opportunity to see and have your picture taken with Santa!

Happy Thanksgiving from us at Branch & Bone to all of you! Times are weird, it's tough out there for most everyone, as individuals and as a business. We are very thankful for your continued support to keep bringing you the best beer and wine we know how. It's only going to get rougher through this winter so please continue to support the local businesses you want to stay around as often as you are able. We love being able to serve you all and hope to continue that for as long as possible.

We are closed today so that our wonderful staff (of whom we are continually thankful) can enjoy the day however they see fit but back at it tomorrow with our Black Friday Barrel Aged Beer Release at Noon featuring Feral Beast and Waltz of Shadows Special Reserve. Hope to see you all out!

Black Friday is fast approaching which means Barrel Aged Beer release here at Branch & Bone! This year we have two very special bottles in very limited amounts for you. This Friday November 29th when we open at Noon is the release of Feral Beast and Waltz of Shadows Special Reserve.

Feral Beast - Blend of Imperial Stouts aged in Bourbon Barrels for 23 and 34 Months.

This very limited beer is the result of blending barrels that were originally destined to be Feral Dawn and Elder Beast to create its own unique monster. Limit 1 bottle per person.

Waltz of Shadows Special Reserve - English Barleywine Aged in Weller Special Reserve barrels for 32 Months.

Our English Barleywine has been slumbering away in a very special barrel that previously held wheated bourbon for over two and a half years. The result is a very complex, rich, and barrel-ful iteration of life. Limit 1 bottle per person.

Both beers will also be available on draft while supplies last in the taproom beginning Friday at Noon. Swing on by while you are out shopping to try them and take a bottle home.

Join us on Wednesday December 4th from 7-9pm as we welcome May Gardens back to our taproom for a wreath making workshop.

In this two hour class, Hannah of May Gardens will help you learn the skills to produce your own unique seasonal wreath. We will start with a 14” grapevine frame and use locally foraged evergreens, eucalyptus and magnolia to create a fresh, fragrant and beautiful wreath that you can proudly display all winter long.
