Had the opportunity through one of our hop partners indiehops to select our lots of Strata and Luminosa for the coming year.

Strata is one of our favorite hops here at the brewery and we’ve been contracting it for quite a while but haven’t selected individual lots before. All of them were very expressive but selecting lots gives you the opportunity to hone in on the characteristics you most want from each individual hop. The Strata we picked is loaded with melon and a backend of dankness.

Luminosa is a newer hop but one we’ve had in rotation a couple years now. Our pick was loaded with that peach/mango/lemonade we crave from this hop.

To taste our beers with Strata hops, stop by the brewery and try Cruise Your Illusion - Hazy IPA where Strata plays with some New Zealand hops or Yesterday’s Eyes - West Coast IPA where Strata co-stars with Citra.
